Ask a research question
Choose Research or make an explicit web research request in Auto. The current research workflow uses the connected Codex research capability, so that connection must be available. A task that cannot run is reported clearly.
Inspect the evidence
A compact sources section records the links returned during research. It distinguishes pages opened by the research tool from search results or citation-only links. A citation is a trail to investigate, not a guarantee that a claim is correct.
Take the next step in the same workspace
Use the findings to inform a specification, compare approaches, or prepare a development task. Research is a distinct step: asking for information does not silently authorize a code build.
Use another perspective
A team research request can bring in connected models to independently review the findings. Reviews can flag missing evidence and disagreements. Verify consequential claims against their original sources before relying on them.
